This story was something new for me. I don't usually read suspense or thriller type books or see those types of movies, but suspense/thriller would accurately describe this book by author Vicki Hinze. Forget Me Not, while being a very unbelievable story line was still able to hold my interest until the end.
The information that explains the context of the story is slowly unfolded as the book progresses. Making the first few chapters very confusing because you have no idea what's going on. I felt throughout the book that just as I was getting fed up with the dramatics and the unrealistic situations I would be given a key piece of information that would encourage me to read on.
I appreciated the heroine's faith in the face of adversity and her blind trust and dependence on God. However, the love scenario that is highly dependent on the hero's faith is sort of ridiculous as the situation the character's are faced with is no time for a blossoming romance.
I don't think the book was bad. It was just a little weird and not quite my style. If it peaked your interest though you can find more information here.
