Baby Chick

I have to admit I am hopelessly in love with out little baby chick. She is so cute, soft, warm and her little peep is priceless. I played it cool in front of the kids like having a baby chick was no big deal and nothing to get too crazy about. But after they were asleep I scooped her up, held her more than I would allow them to all day and took pictures of her, all to my husband's amusement/annoyance, I'm not sure which. I kept hearing him say under his breath "It's just a chicken..."

I can't wait to get her some lovely little friends on Sunday!
