Shrinky Dinks from #6 plastic! I've been talking about trying it for a long time and finally did it and it is so super cool, unbelievably awesome and let me tell you, it is quite possibly the simplest crafty thing ever! And (despite what the picture says) they look amazing! Just as good as the ones we made last week with an actual shrinky dink kit. There are tons of tutorials for how to do this out there on the web, so get to searching and start saving all your #6 plastics! Or if you are skeptical of exposing yourself to fumes from shrinking the plastic....shouldn't we all be?? Then just save your #6 plastic and give it to me, I'm pretending the fumes don't bother me cuz this was just too much fun!

Oh, thank you for posting this! I have been wanting to do this but I couldn't remember what #plastic it was!! What kind of things are #6?
My mom used to make these when we were kids! :) They are so much fun. Sometimes we would add pin backs, to make pins.
How fun! Sorry, I don't think I have any #6's sitting around, though.
